Brown butter maple frosting
Sidesingredients:
• 1┬╜ cups butter, softened
• 4 oz cream cheese, softened
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• ┬╜ cup maple syrup
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
directions:
1. Add two sticks of butter to a pan and brown lightly over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Once the butter smells toasted, remove from the stove and transfer to a mixing bowl and allow to cool completely.
2. Add other stick of room temperature butter and cream cheese, then add maple syrup and powdered sugar. Beat together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and beat until combined.
