Homemade pizzas

ingredients:

• 1 1/3 cups warm water • 1 tablespoon sugar • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast • 3 1/2 - 4 cups flour • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 cup pizza sauce • mozzarella cheese • any other toppings you want

directions:

1. whisk warm water, yeast, and sugar together, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 5 minutes 2. add flour, olive oil, and salt, beat for 2 minutes or until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl 3. beat for another 5 minutes or knead dough on a lightly floured surface, if you poke the dough with your finger and it slowly bounces back, it is ready to rise 4. put dough ball in bowl, and lightly coat with oil, roll ball around in bowl to coat evenly, cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rise for 60-90 minutes until dough has doubled in size 5. preheat oven to 475, allow it to sit at that temperature for 15-20 minutes 6. divide dough into 2 balls and flatten each into a disc, place each disc on a greased baking sheet, and flatten into a 12 inch circle 7. cover dough with plastic wrap, and allow to rest for a few more minutes 8. lightly brush crust with olive oil, add sauce, cheese, and then toppings 9. bake for 13-15 minutes until crust is golden brown
