French Dips
Dinnersingredients:
• 3-4 lbs chuck roast or rump roast
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper
• 10.5 oz condensed beef broth
• 10.5 oz condensed french onion soup
• 1 yellow onion, sliced
• 12 oz light beer
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
• 8 french rolls or two baguettes
• provolone cheese
directions:
1. season roast with salt and pepper and brown both sides in a pan on medium heat
2. add roast, beef broth, french onion soup, onion, garlic, beer, and worcestershire sauce to a slow cooker
3. cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours
4. pull out roast and place on a separate plate. shred with 2 forks
5. assemble sandwiches with bread, meat, and cheese. toast bread and cheese before assembly if desired
6. dip sandwiches in juice from slow cooker
