ingredients:

• 2 cups flour • 1 tablespoon baking powder • 1 tablespoon sugar • 1 teaspoon salt • 6 tablespoons chilled butter • 3/4 cup whole milk

directions:

1. preheat oven to 425┬░ 2. combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt 3. cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbles 4. Add milk and stir with a spatula until combined 5. transfer to well floured surface and use hands to gently work dough together 6. knead dough by repeatedly rotating dough and folding over on itself 7. flatten dough to 1ΓÇ¥ thick 8. press biscuit cutter into dough until you run out of dough, repeat kneading and cutting until there is no more dough left 9. place biscuits on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 12 min
