Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies
Dessertsingredients:
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam
• frosting
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
• 1 teaspoon milk
directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350┬░.
2. Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Mix in almond extract. Add flour and mix until dough comes together.
3. Form dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet, press thumb down to make a dent in the center of each ball.
4. Fill dents with jam.
5. Bake for 14-18 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
6. Mix powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk. Drizzle on top of cookies.
